Providing support and training for Therapists and Practitioners working with Neurodivergent Clients.Lucy Wells & Hannah Currant
|
Lunah Training has evolved out of recognition that there is very little training or support for Therapists and Practitioners who are encountering an increasing number of clients who are neurodivergent.
Consultant Occupational Therapist Lucy Wells, and Supervisor & Practitioner Hannah Currant, have teamed up to develop a programme of support and training to enable Practitioners and Therapists to recognise, understand, and work confidently and inclusively with clients who think they may be neurodivergent or who already have a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyspraxia (also known as DCD), Dyslexia, Tourette's Syndrome, etc. |

"Practical format and useful information for anyone working with clients. I liked that we could ask questions and have them answered in such a skilful and clear way. Very helpful - thank you both! "- Irene Ödmark-Hall, EFT Trainer and Therapist, Sweden
"This kind of bite-sized occasional learning session is so useful. Not too much to take in at a time, simple helpful strategies for client work, learning from Lucy’s expertise and Hannah’s clear holding of the session plus hearing my own insecurities as a practitioner echoed in others entering this work and being reassured of one’s usefulness to the client." - Diane Adderley, Psychotherapist - UK
"The two support webinars run by Hannah & Lucy on neurodiversity were packed full of valuable information & resources. It was also really useful to be able to share case studies and challenges and to hear from other practitioners. This is a much needed area for further training and I look forward to participating in more such training/mentoring events." -Marian Fixler, Acupuncturist and EFT Practitioner - UK
"Hannah and Lucy make a formidable team, such great knowledge and insights shared freely about neurodiversity. As a new practitioner the information was easy to understand, presented well and easily relatable." - Ellenor de-Boer EFT Practitioner Australia
